PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT

• I realize that school comes before hockey and it is my responsibility to keep my grades at a level that is acceptable to my parents;

 

• I will always respect my coaches teammates, parents, opponents and officials

 

• I will dedicate myself to develop good sportsmanship; teamwork and discipline both on and off the ice;

 

• I will always show up on time for practices and games;

 

• I understand that there will be some team rules set forth for missing practices and games;

 

• I will take the time to learn the rules of the game and always play be them;

 

• I will always leave the game on the ice and not carry it into the locker room with me;

 

• I will refrain from using profanity or negative gestures to my fellow teammates, coaches, officials and parents;

 

• I will be a player who respects the great game of hockey and will play to promote hockey to the best of my abilities;

 

• I will not place blame for a loss or a tie on my teammates. I understand that we win and lose as a team;

 

• I will not make negative remarks about my teammates, other players, coaches, officials or parents

 

• Union Arena Youth Rec Hockey has outlined the following rules, regulations and guidelines that we will enforce and abide by effective immediately. Please read and understand the following items so that you are informed of the current policies.
